BUT! Can Alabama fans at least admit that receiving the invitation to the MNC should be as SEC champs? Is this not completely backwards coming in the backdoor via computers rather on the feild from your region of the country?
Can you please at least admit that much before the group here? LSU at the time of this game will be 13-0 while Alabama is 11-1 with a loss to LSUWow! 2 Victories behind LSU before the game starts!
winning the MNC is greater than being SEC champs...that's the issue, Alabama gets to bypass this apparent requirement

if some alabama fan, on a message board, would say what you want them to, could you then just sit back & enjoy having the best lsu team probably in your memory & stop posting threads about alabama?

It's not a requirement. The only requirement is you have to be ranked #1 or #2 to play for the MNC. Anything else you view as "required" or a stepping stone to the MNC, is all in your head. We're #2, we go. Nothing backwards about it.

It does suck for LSU, no doubt about it.
BUT, all that is required is to be #2. Every other team has one or more bad losses, and whether you will admit it or not, Alabama and LSU are fairly even and better than everyone else.
