Tim Brando was but a few days ago AGAINST a rematch. Now he is for it because he believes that the public outcry over a rematch will cause the BCS to implode and lead to a playoff.
funny to me that no one argues in favor of Alabama getting a rematch on the merit of their team.

Safety net. You gumps need to get over yourselves. Your " all world defense" has been exposed twice now as not being sideline to sideline fast. If JJ starts and plays the whole game on nov. 5,LSU wins going away. It's hilarious you gimps think any LSU fan is scared to play y'all. We beat you at home. Don't give me missed field goals bullshite. You can't line up for CAREER LONG field goals and then say y'all left points on the field.

Whether you want to admit it or not.. this Alabama defense is historically great.

I guess Alabama and LSU aren't that different after all. Brb Katrina signs.

I don't think Danielson was trying to flame Bama fans, he's just giving an opinion that seems logical to me.
He's paid to give his opinion on the game that he is watching and not the game that has not been played. I really think that the SEC should do something him and Vern. He is paid by CBS which is supposed to be the SEC network, and he should be pushing for both teams to be in the title game(think of the money for the conference) and not talking against it. He was a quarterback a long time ago, and wants to act like he is such an authority on everything football, and just because Vern is constantly laughing at his little comments and believes everything he says, doesn't mean we have to, and we certainly don't think his remarks are cute. He talks more about himself and who and what he knows than the two teams playing.
If he'd spend his time learning player's names instead of speaking out against something he doesn't even have a vote in, he'd be a lot better commentator.

Do you think any Alabama fans care about how the team gets to the game just so long as they get to the game? Any fan base in the same situation wouldn't care either.

Oh, I know that. It's just hilarious to watch the hypocrisy. All of a sudden Alabama fans don't want to talk about wins, etc. They sound like Boise St fans.

I would like this question to be answered and it's not directed at just Bama fans. How can you be the best team in the entire FBS football landscape and you arent the best team in your division.
That question is not relevant here. The relevant question is "Can you be the 2nd best team in FBS football and not be the best team in your division?"
And the answer is "yes, when the best team in FBS is also in your division".

The question is.. do you give the benefit of the doubt to a 1-loss team with 6 wins over ranked opponents, or a 1-loss SEC runner up with 2 wins over ranked opponents? We already know that LSU is better than Alabama. We don't know that LSU is better than Oklahoma St. We all think that LSU is, but we do not know it.

LSU went both times (MNC) by winning the SEC first
you have to live with this on your own conscious.. (bama back dooring in)
You lost and home, played one less game than LSU and some how you will "steal" LSU's season at the end?
uh no!

I think one thing many aren't taking into account is the common opponents LSU and Bama have faced. Admittedly, LSU has had a tougher schedule, but against common opponents the scores have been almost identical.
I'm not saying it's right, but when people see LSU manhandle a team like Oregon and a good/decent team like WVU, they ASSUME Bama would do the same to those teams as well. Because of the OT finish and the blowouts against common opponents.
Again, not saying that's the way it should be, but these two teams are so similar, that by LSU blowing out good teams, Bama benefits as well.
So here's to the 2011 LSU Tigers, helping Bama to the BCSNCG by blowing everyone else out but us!
Thank you TIGERS!!
