This is all getting mind-numbing.
I think everyone should just admit that both teams are VERY evenly matched. Bama is a GREAT football team as is LSU.
The problem is that either team could win, and this is troubling to me and most LSU fans because giving Bama a second chance after losing at home just seems like punishing LSU by making them play a great team that they went to war with and beat.
Bama's team and fans should understand this sentiment, but most will say it's fear of the mighty Tide. I look at it as respect for a great team and program. And because of this respect I have no problem giving them another shot, but do think it's a tough break for LSU because Bama has proven it can play with LSU.
It will be decided in the end whether the rematch occurs or not. Bama just gets a shot at redemption a second chance, but if LSU loses they don't get another shot which to me is the biggest injustice.
