He's only called on to kick 40+.
well, if he's only called on to kick 40+ then he only made one all year before the LSU game... because he looks like he is 2 for 9 this year on attempts

last year he had better numbers from that link... but I don't know if that also means he did shorter field goals last year

He only attempted 3 before the LSU game. 2 were over 50 yards. He hit 1 from 45. Not too many NFL kickers going to hit those consistently.
