here's nothing crazy or delusional or dumb about saying we outplayed you

For 3 straight quarters, absolutely everything went Alabama's way - every fumble, every interception, every call (but one), yet Alabama could only muster ONE legit scoring opportunity without help. The other 4 required an interception (2), or a crucial personal foul call (2) without which Alabama never even attempts but ONE field goal the ENTIRE game. Then, at the very end of the third, LSU gets its first interception and the wheels begin fall off the Saban express. IN ITS LAST THREE POSSESSIONS, ALABAMA HAD A TOTAL OF TWO - !TWO! - PLAYS FOR POSITIVE YARDS. In retrospect, the outcome was never in doubt after the beginning of Q4, exactly like every other LSU game this year.

LSU kicked a FG in the 2nd quarter. That was after they drove the ball to the Bama 2 also. So Bama didn't have everything going for them in the first 3 quarters.

LSU - 2 INTs. 1 FG.
Bama - 2 INTs. 1 FG.

In the 4th quarter Bama drove deep into LSU territory only to have the Maze pass picked off so the wheels weren't falling off.

If the game was never in doubt why was 6-6 at the end of regulation?

You must have been watching a different game than I was.

I felt the exact same way. Once the Tigers weathered the storm our depth took over. And not one team has that advantage over LSU.
