You must have forgotten the game. Brad Wing was putting the ball in places that it shouldn't have even been in the first place.

Brad Wing had a 73 yard punt at a crucial point in the game from really deep in his own territory.

When it came down to it, LSU's players stepped up and made big plays when it counted most... and that's why they won.

That's what I said. LSU made the right plays at the right time. The biggest was the sack of AJ in OT.

The motto of this LSU team all season long. They can turn it in in an instant.. forgive me, but I'm not all that impressed at a team driving the ball to midfield and then getting stopped outside of FG range. That's just good defense.

What do you think making "big plays" is?

It's making the right plays at the right time. Not just right plays... but clutch plays.

That punt by Wing possibly saved the game. That interception on Alabama's 1 yard line definitely saved the game. That sack and tackles for losses in OT were clutch. And that run by Ford and kick won the game.

During crunch-time, LSU stepped up and made the big-time plays that won the game for them. Alabama fizzled.
