But it was a legitimate call, whereas the obvious late hit on Lee wasn't called at all. I think if both teams play their A-games in New Orleans, the score will be just as close as November 5th when, IMO both teams played about a B-.

Yes - by unneccessary I didn't mean it was a bad call. I was just saying it was a stupid penalty on Bama's part. Also, the penalty on #7 negated a big punt return for LSU. Both teams really should/could have played better.
