Alabama HAD to pass to keep up

Alabama passed because that's what Alabama does. It's called a balanced offense.

LSU did not.

Well, maybe if you a decent qb you'd pass.

LSU left about 14 points on the field, which you just can't do vs strong teams like Alabama.

Like when you had 1st and goal from the 2 and got shut down? Yeah I guess you could say you left points on the field. Or you could just say Bama wasn't giving up shite.

Dropped TD pass, Shepard fell on his arse instead of walking into the endzone, and Ford stepped out of bounds.

You can't have it both ways. I'd say that those missed FGs were forced by LSU, especially the blocked one. Ford stepping out of bounds.. I guess you could say that was forced (mental mistake more than anything). Shepard fell on his arse instead of scoring which obviously wasn't forced. The dropped TD pass to Randle could be called forced too, timing was off slightly.
