Here's the truth: It was an extremely tight game. Minute differences ended up deciding it. It could've gone either way.

As far as rematch:
If it's another tight game, and Bama wins, we don't know who's better.

If LSU wins, LSU is better, regardless of how tight the game is.

But if Bama wins convincingly, Bama is better. And that is what LSU fans are afraid of.

Even a 10 point win would mean jack shite in your scenario. LSU beat Alabama at home which is >>> Alabama beating LSU on a neutral field. It is what it is though.. and LSU is STILL getting better week after week.

I have no issues with someone saying "it was a tight game that could have gone either way." No isses at all with that statement.

A few plays here or there, and I fully admit that either team could have come away with the W.

But I have a huge issue with the false statement that "Alabama outplayed LSU" or that "Alabama dominated LSU" or "Alabama beat LSU in every statistic." Those statements are the ones that I am here to shed some light on and prove false. Anyone who makes such a statement is obviously so blanketed by their bias that their opinion deserves to be discredited.
