No, the Arkansas fans misunderstood. I'm confident there was no intention to mock or make light of the death.
It is hypocritical that LSU fan demand that the Arkansas fans and team understand Jefferson's action but refuse to even try to understand their perspective. Instead the LSU posters say Arkansas fans are butthurt, or looking for reasons to be offended, or Petrino is an a-hole and act like this week occurred in a vacuum. It is extremely myopic and petty.

It is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS that LSU fans have to explain again and again that their players and coach were not mocking another player's death.
Even if you don't get the Superman reference, to then be led to the conclusion that they were making fun of the loss of another may be (as hard as it is to believe) the most outrageous accusation ever made on this site.
