If teams 2-12 in the current standings all lose, then UGA beats LSU you would have LSU and houston with 1 loss and UGA with 2 along with a half dozen or so other schools, a rematch with LSU could make as much sense as anything else.

If LSU lost to Arkansas then Arkansas lost to UGA you could have a stronger argument for LSU UGA in the championship game.

We wouldn't necessarily need that. Let's not forget 2007 when we were in the top 4 and 1 and 2 lost, yet #7 LSU catapulted to the top.

Palm's point was that an 11-2 SEC champ would jump a bunch of folks without them having to lose.

But, I disagree. We ain't going. No way.
