Yeah, and LSU won the 2007 championship by default. You really weren't the best team in the nation.
If we lose, our only losses will still have come @ #1 and @ #2. Honestly, if we aren't in the top 2 at the end IDGAF anyway, that's all that matters.

Georgia was the only team that was probably better than us at the end of the season, but they didn't do their job and win their division so they could get their shot.

So if you don't think the Hogs are #3, who deserves it more than a 10-1 Arkansas team?
By the way, I agree with you corn dogs. We aren't the #3 team in the country. By Saturday, we will be no worse than 2nd. You will be #3.

I've always disliked the Arkansas game
It comes on a short week the day after Thanksgiving when I'd rather be with my family... if they just moved the damn game to Saturday I'd be a 100x happier
Plus, I'd rather play a team like Florida or Alabama at the end of the year... because generally speaking they are programs of equal prestige and beating them means as much to LSU as it does to Alabama or Florida

1) you aren't going to win IMO
2) even if you win you will be ranked behind LSU in the BCS
I'm not saying that is 100% fair but when you have a three way tie two of the three teams are going to feel they are ranked too low relative to someone

Who should be ahead of Arkansas right now? What other teams have proven MORE than arkansas? We might have lost to Bama, but we didn't lose to fricking Baylor. Or Iowa State. Or USC. Or Texas Tech.
Complain all you want about Arkansas being 3rd, but at least have a legit argument as to who should be ranked higher.
You think ALMOST losing to Vandy or Ole Miss is bad? How about ACTUALLY losing to Iowa fricking State?

Good point. Never heard LSU talk so much shite and strut around like a bunch of 10th graders at a jr. high dance. Going to be awesome watching us tear their O-rings on Friday. All this posing and trash talking and turkey strutting tells me one thing.... TIGGERS = skeerdt.

If you want to get technical about it, Iowa State is a better team than Vandy and especially Ole Miss this year.
Also, I think USC would give Arkansas a run for their money, but hey, who am I to dispute the awesome, prolific power of the 'ship?

It's probably my least favorite game because we are Arkie's super bowl and we just don't have the same feelings towards them. They have snuck up on us a bunch because of that. Fortunately that won't happen this year.
