From my understanding, the NCAA can retroactively apply sanctions to the potential school, for example, OM, for hiring a coach with the "failure to monitor" action taken against them. After a certain time period, however, those go away. Correct me if I'm wrong here this is just what I've heard.

He is a good coach and can certainly recruit but he would be risky, risky. Not sure he would even know how to do it within the rules.
