If you are just turning and handing the ball off to them, there isn't a whole lot of difference. However, TR does so much more than Dyer as a receiver out of the backfield, that it isn't even really close.

I get that MD is running behind a much inferior o-line, but TR is still better.

Every SEC team has at least one back better than Dyer. Bama and LSU have more than 1 better. Ole Miss' backup QB is a better back than Dyer.
