You won to get an opportunity to win the SEC championship. The BCS doesn't try to figure out conference championships. LSU fans can keep thinking they beat Alabama for no reason. Just proves y'all aren't a bright fanbase. And OP that wasn't directed at you.

You're right. I've defended Miles over the last few years under the banner of "compete for the West". In '08 we really didn't, but have every year otherwise. You win the West and then the SEC... everything else takes care of itself.

So many Bama and LSU fans are so spoiled that SEC goals aren't good enough.

Since the OP is a Tiger fan, gotta call b.s. on that remark. BTW, like most real Tiger fans, neither the OP or myself think we beat 'Bama for no reason. Even if it was LSU's only win of the season that victory would have been priceless.
