He plays in a three-back system on a team which relies heavily on the pass. Despite that, he leads his team in rushing touchdowns.

And if we're going to talk about Heisman Trophy winners who haven't torn it up in the league, there are far better candidates from the recent history who have made little to no impact. Players such as Troy Smith, Chris Weinke, Vince Young, Eric Crouch, and Jason White.

Mark Ingram is one of the least offenders in the category of Heisman Trophy winners who weren't NFL Hall of Famers. Not to mention the fact that this is his rookie season.
