All of this is assuming LSU wins out, which isn't guaranteed, as we still have 2 loseable games on our schedule.

Obviously if Okie State or Stanford runs the table they make it into the game. I'm personally pulling for Oklahoma State. Oregon would theoretically deserve a rematch almost as much as Bama if it came down to 1 loss teams(arguments could be made for both sides) and Boise will probably be in the mix.

Honestly, bama is by FAR the second best team in the nation, and I'm not sure LSU can beat them a second time, but I'm fairly certain we can clobber any other team in the nation.

TL;DR I don't want Bama in a rematch because I want a guaranteed national title.

A rematch would be the end of BCS. Bama had its shot at LSU and you have give others the same chance.

I just don't see a rematch. The powers that be want a game that appeals to the whole nation. They will avoid an all SEC final at all costs. I'm NOT saying that's fair, I just don't see it. Bama's best chance to play in the NC is for LSU to lose. Of course that would create a nightmare as who would get the nod if LSU were to lose to Arkansas or Georgia? I think Okie St. OR Stanford loses, but not both.

I think we beat Bama a lot worse in a rematch. We have better players and a better coach. The only reason the game was close was because it was in Bama. We'll handle them easily in New Orleans.

It would be more interesting to play another team, however. Not as much fun to beat the same team again.
