Just sayin'. I could understand the uproar if the Vanderbilt player was actually injured.

The hit was bad, yes. But the kid is fine.

Probably didn't help his case that he acted a fool until he was (thankfully) out of the sight of camera

So it is ok to spear as long as the other player is not hurt?
