Isn't this one of the hardest games ever to predict?

On one hand, Alabama appears to be the more physical team. Not much, but a edge nonetheless. On lsu, they are so dynamic and unpredictable. It's almost like they want to be challenged. After the first quarter of the Florida game, it's like they didn't even care and just sleepwalked through the second half.

On the other hand Alabama is just a machine that bludgeons you to death with pure brute force.

Alabama - more physical and intimidating

Lsu - faster by a hair overall with dynamic playmaking ability. And hopefully the depth to stay as physical for 4 quarters

Alabamas defense is almost all uperclassmen, that are always in position

Lsu has alot of looks on the offense with 2 senior qb's with a great oline blocking TE's and full backs.

Lsu has the athletes the put 7 or 8 in the box and cover up the recievers. I know our defense doesn't play their defense so comparing them is stupid. But alabamas defense in my mind would stop any college offense I have ever seen. So I don't know if we will be able to move the ball at all.

It may end up that our defense might have to score. And if we can't stop Richardson we are in trouble

Honestly, I have no idea what makes lsu fans so confident. I have serious doubts about being able to run the ball on the tide. Ultimately, we might have to hope bama makes some mistakes. Both teams are so good, that both should be able to find the one weekness, attack it and the route will on. Part of me believes it will be a blowout I just don't know if lsu will be the statue or the pigeon.

With 2 weeks of rest and in the case of ware, lonergran, trex, Adams and Simon, 3 weeks.

In a game like this, expierience and toughness would seem to have the edge. Along with the home field advantage the tide clearly have the edge, and I am not so confident AT ALL. I just hope its a good close game that is played clean.

Good Post. All the fans that seem so confident mainly reveals that they just want to talk a bunch of BS because this game really could go either way from all any of us could see at this point.

Another thing that bugs me. Trent Richardson is a special player. I don't like special players, because in the end there is only one ball. And you usually end up on the wrong side of the corn hole with special players.

Tebow, newton, dmac etc. hate them all. Lsu does not have any "special" players.

Trent is the best running back I have ever seen in college.

I'm not worried.

LSU is great -- but they don't have it.

Alabama 27-14

IIts pretty easyr for me. Either the games hardfought with no clear winner till the 4th quarter, or Alabama wins in a blowout. Thats what usually happend when you play Alabama, regardless of how well Alabama is currently doing. Sometimes, sometimes we get owned, but its not likely enough to warrant wasting money on.

Great post, I think the team that has the ball
last may win.

With both teams coming off a bye, I really don't see why it would not be.

Impossible. No matter how the game unfolds, there will be a ridiculous amount of threads about shitty officiating. What is the over/under on those threads anyway? Hopefully, no one gets hurt in this game.

Whoever wins needs to do so in a blowout so as to quash any future talk of a rematch. I do not want to see this game played again in the NCG.

Unfortunately, if it ends up as a 6-7 point margin, there will probably be a decent chance of another game between us. I expect Okie Lite, Stanford, and Clemson to drop a game. Boise doesn't count.

I actually disagree with this post totally. We will beat Ala by a bigger margin than you think. Yeah TR is great but our defense is gap sound and we tackle really well. We will stack the line and our Db's will cover Man to man well. If we get consistant pressure on their Qb we REALLY win big. Our offense will score as well. TR 's greatness will not be the deciding factor. Whoever pressues the QB the best will win!!

I think it is somewhat difficult, but I think the game being at Bama is kind of a nice advantage for UA. That said, LSU is pretty damn good in their own way too.

Should be a good game

Anyone who claims to know the outcome is a lying, cheating, dirty yankee carpetbagger from Boston. Only person who knows for sure he will win is the corn dog rep for Bryant Denny.
