Really?

Any Bama fan that says anything but Saban is a fool

Any LSU fan that says anything but Miles is a fool

Both coaches have brought their respective teams to this point.

For this ONE game, Miles no question.

Homerism aside.

I feel Miles hates Saban with a passion. I don't feel like he hates Bama so to speak, but just would hate any school Saban coached at. Because Miles is/was and in some mental cases will always be compared to Saban while at LSU. Miles knows this fact, and I believe he gets his team up to play Bama more than any other. Ex. LSU 2008 vs Bama. Bama went undefeated(reg season) and we had one of the worst defenses in the league that year and we played them to OT.

Wheras, Saban wants his teams to focus on each opponent equally. Each and every games means the same week in and week out in Saban's eyes and he tries to instill this in his teams.

Miles will have this team extremely motivated on Nov. 5

IMHO

Game should be one for the ages.

I'm gonna say miles. I'm not picking him because I am an LSU fan. I have great respect for both coaches and programs, but I would rather have the unpredictable and harder to plan for coach in this game on my sideline. You just don't know what he will do and to me that would make me nervous as a fan of the opposing team. I think Saban is much better as far as executing the plays, but miles is very unpredictable. If bama had miles and you were coming to tiger stadium for this game it would make me fricking nervous!

Which coach would you rather have on the sidelines if you knew before hand you were going to win?

Which coach would you rather on the sidelines if you knew before hand you were going to lose?

I don't want to get into a whole thing here, but are you saying you'd take Miles because you think he'll be motivated? In a thread where I expect tons of absurd things to be spewed, this would be the funniest.

I believe he said he'll have the TEAM motivated. Our players typically do not come out flat under Miles. He seems to be able to have our team play above themselves in big games.

I get that, no doubt Miles has been good in bigger games. But to imply one team will be more motivated than the other is somewhat silly.
