Last year Auburn destroyed them on the ground. Will they be able to correct their weaknesses this time around?

This is where I think LSU will have to make some adjustments because Auburn's rushing attack will be good. But I think we will contain them and hurt them in other ways.

Malzahn needs to work on delays and screens all week for LSU.

If you can get that DL to flow into the backfield, you can exploit their LBs. Way easier said than done though...

I think if we can stop them as well as the Elephant Turds did last year then we are in trouble

I just pray we don't choke away a 24 point lead to them at home. Can you imagine that shame?

I sure hope so.

Who knows? Maybe Bama can hold them off in the second half this year....

I still remember exactly how I felt watching that game. So frustrated and hopeless. We got beat. Straight up. No excuses.

There are two obvious differences this year though:

1. NO Cam Newton
2. We have a better offense.

Our improved offense will help control the clock this year and our defense won't be on the field as long as it was last year. There were several times in the game last year where Auburn would drive it down the field with a high ToP drive. Then, our offense would step on the field and go 3 and out (Or maybe get ONE first down.) Then, the defense that lived on the field would have to get right back on.

That's not going to happen this year. I think Chavis / Miles will force the players to watch the film of Auburn just running over us last year as they pleased early on in the week (If not today) and many players will remember that hopeless feeling as well. We won't be overlooking this game.

most certainly

No Cam

I was at the game last year and never went back to my seat after halftime. I smoked cigarettes on the walkway the whole second half.

so frustrating
