Theory on why Spurrier chose today

This is coming from me. And it's JUST a theory. I believe he did it to deflect Garcia, and failed. But this is food for thought.

What if he chose today because of Garcia after all? Showing that he's willing to work with his players, just like he did with Shaw and Garcia? It could be a "I'm willing to work with you if you're willing to work with me" approach.

And the Ellington/Morris debacle was just a more recent example?

Like I said, just speculation, but this isn't the first time Morris has fabricated stories about SC players.

I think he just got word from the NCAA that they are now looking into Ellington's recruitment based on Ron's Article.

I think there has to be some kind of reason because just looking at it, he should have done this a while ago.

regardless of whether or not a reporter is fabricating stories, it's better to simply ignore and move on.

Remember "I'm A Man IM FORTY?"... sometimes it's just better to take the high road and not come across as a fool.
