Are Ware and Richardson equals, or would you take one over the other?

- both are about 5'11" 225-230, built like absolute tanks

- both catch the ball well out of the backfield

- both get stronger as the game goes along and can wear out a D late

- I think TR may have Ware on breakaway speed/acceleration

what say you?

Richardson's speed sets him apart and there's no way in holy hell that cat is 5'11.

They aren't even similar backs.

Stupid thread. SW hasnt proven near as much as TR at this point imo. Ware is a good back no doubt but he is not even in the convo with T-Rich.

Ware has never registered on my radar. I wouldn't even know his name if I didn't frequent this board.

They're not even close. Richardson hands down.

There's no debate here. Trent is much faster and gets to top gear much quicker. Wares strength is in his vision. Trent is better than he is. I'd love to see what Ware could do in the Alabama offense, though.

No knock on Ware. I watched him play twice so far and he is a good back but TR is in another class.

Strange question

I'm glad someone finally asked this.

Ware isn't even LSU's best ball carrier let alone better than Richardson.

Richardson is a good bit better than Ware. I don't think there is any debating that.

At the moment Richardson is arguably the top back in the league. Ware, while he appears to be very talented, isn't even in the top 5.
