This guy is a t-sip troll. I was suspicious at first, but this is going down as Exhibit A, and I will rest and close.

if i were to change one tradition right now, i'd get female cheerleaders. they don't have to lead in 'yells' but they can shake their pom poms and stand around looking hot. after that i'd get rid of the corp block at games.

Larry,

When you put it that way, I can totally see how your analogy involving yell leaders and the 13th, 14th, and 19th amendments is spot on.

Thanks!

Thats what I'm talking about!!! I can work with that

Nobody has a problem with the cadets... but why do they have to wear their uniforms to the game? Cant they just show up dressed like college students? You dont think there are people in the military that go to other schools? yet those people dont feel it necessary to put on the uniform for each game

I'm down with female cheerleaders--provided they don't detract from what the yell leaders already do (i.e., maximum crowd participation). If you just want something to trot out in front of TV cameras and titillate fans in like the first 3 rows, be my guest.

Don't touch Corps block.

I was talking about bowl games. But, hey, maybe we just straight sucked arse and didn't even belong in a bowl game those years. I don't know.

the point is, if you are such a rabid fanbase, how can you not sell your allotment of tickets for a bigtime matchup in Dallas against a top 25 team ? Its a closer drive than any SEC campus?

So how are we supposed to believe your "rabid" fans are gonna travel to Gainesville, Athens, Ttown, Knoxville, Auburn, etc? When you can't even sell out your allotment of tickets for a top 25 matchup in Dallas?

he is a sip. it was blatantly obvious last night, especially since he can't stop talking about aggies. he's trying to throw us under the bus just like those sips that started their own forum website trying to act like aggies but got noticed. this occurrence has happened at least 3 times with them.

first of all, I still haven't figured out what a "sip" is, but coming from the aggies I'm sure its some really funny depression era slang

second, I grew up an Alabama fan and have 2 degrees from the capstone, I attended the National Championship game in 92 in New Orleans and again against Texas in Pasadena in 09. (By the way you are welcome for that last one)

so yeah, swing and a miss!!! I guess that something you aggs are used to though

You might want to take up that issue with the Citadel, VMI, Va. Tech, and all the Academies before you come to A&M with that. Never going to change, nor should it.

Easy answer: cadets have a "march-in" right before kickoff for the games. It'd be virtually impossible for the entire Corps to parade, go back and change, then make it back to the stadium for kickoff.

I have a perfect solution. Hear me out.

Keep the yell leaders. Their job is to direct and coordinate the crowd at specific times. Don't need to be a hot girl to do that.

Then, we get some hot girls that do nothing but dance, shake arse, and otherwise serve as eye candy. Everybody wins. Everybody is happy, right?

Absolutely, male yell leaders and hot dancers, hot female yell leaders. Whatever, just as long as the only thing seen on TV as cheerleaders aren't gay looking guys doing weird things with there hands.

1. Auburn is probably going to the east. Ending the Iron bowl which is the biggest rivalry in college sports at this time.

No one outside the state of Alabama gives a shite about the iron bowl.

Didn't say they did, but it is the biggest rivalry in college football, outside of Army Navy maybe.
