I'd take Lacy now that he has evidently learned how to hold onto the football. Ford is more physical though as far as I can tell. My only complaint about Lacy is that at the end of runs he sometimes just steps out of bounds instead of trying to hurt the DB coming up to make the tackle.

Really? Lacy has seemed pretty damn physical to me. He hardly ever goes down at first contact, and is always going forward.
