I use to have a place in my heart for State. Primarily because they hate Ole Miss almost as much as LSU. But lately, State fans have proven they can't handle a little success. They are becoming more and more like Arky fans.


But to answer Ragaheads question: State has a bunch of fans in the Memphis area. Southhaven, MS is a suburb with a lot of money and they like to keep that fan base happy. It is like Arkansas playing in Little Rock. It is to keep the fan base happy.
