Phelon Jones has been practicing with the ones (Menzie and Kirkpatrick) since the last scrimmage.
Looks like Phelon is battling it out with Millner to be that third CB in Nickel.
On Tuesday, Saban said he considers all four to be starters and doesn't know which ones will be getting the most playing time.
But it looks like Phelon is getting the reps right now.

But that scrub wasn't good enough to start at LSU? I feel concern all the sudden.

I didn't realize Phelon was still there. I thought his eligibility was up.

If I remember correctly he got his 5th star on rivals last year because of a improved 40 time. He sure didn't look that fast when Zachery out ran him after his catch.

What's happening with John Fulton? If Demarcus Milliner is struggling to beat out Phelon Jones for the nickel CB spot, that's not a good sign.

Milliner is an outside Corner, he's not what you want at Nickle. Phelon is more built to go up against shift slot WRs.
You play Milliner on the tall WRs so he can use his above average height and elite speed to match up with them...
