After watching the Auburn vs. Oregon game a few nights ago, I had forgotten how small some of Oregon's players looked compared to the Auburn players. However, they are quick/fast and their defense looked really good.
How well do y'all think Oregon will match up against LSU on Sept. 3? I'm thinking it will be a very close game and hopefully, LSU will win.
Thoughts?

If LSU can get any type of good qb play in that game they will win.
Oregon isnt gonna be able to gash LSU's D on a regular basis and LSU should be able to pound the rock.
The question is, will LSU have the qb play to make Oregon pay when they stack the box?? We shall see. I will be at my tent in the Grove watching it after our game, either really happy or really pissed.

Well, if someone doesn't want to discuss it, that's OK with me.

That's what I'm thinking.

Oregon wins on a few big plays probably.

Oregon's defense made a lot of big plays in the game against Auburn. I could see that making a big difference if they play that well against LSU.

Oregon lost some very good players from last year thou. No telling how the replacements will do. Assuming JJ plays I think LSU wins it. Now if JLee is the starter I can see Oregon pulling it out.

Did they lose a lot of players on defense?

Yes, a lot of those players who played well in the title game aren't there anymore. And arguably their best player on their secondary is suspended for that first game.

I think LSU wins by 7-10 points. I think the LSU DL stops the Oregon run. LSU will pound the ball and wear Oregon down. Those Ducks will have to eat extra granola to even try to keep up. I might be wrong, I thought Auburn would beat Oregon by 7-10 but Cam was a little injured during that game.

Cam wasn't at his best but Oregon's defense gave him trouble at times too.
