SIAP, but it's obvious what has happened here. DS and Pondscum are in cahoots. Scum pays Dog Shi$ money to come on his show and make bogus claims. DS who has money troubles, gets a few bucks. Pondscum gets a lot of morons to believe this BS, so he gets improved ratings. Both know he will never release a name. Pondscum pretends to be upset to make it look legit. Pondscum = Jerry Springer with less class. I cant believe people actually fall for this BS hook, line, and sinker.

Sheridan has always struck me as a guy that parses his words very carefully to provide an out. He did that in this situation but his mistake is he never should have gone public with the info he claims to have in the first place. His biggest weakness is he has a MASSIVE ego that needs to be massaged. He HAD to go public with his info so all his peers would praise him for being the first to publically state he had the info on Cam. The problem is I think he jumped the gun way to early and now he's made himself an easy target for ridicule.

Let me put it this way. I'd still be VERY concerned if this was an Alabama booster and Bama player that he was saying this about. Contrary to popular belief, he has an excellent track record on this. The problem for him is that people are going to forget a lot of what he's really saying and assume he's trying to say he knows Auburn is going down when he hasn't made that claim. Everything he said is based on a 3rd party spilling the beans. Because that 3rd party is under no obligation to spill the beans, Sheridan was foolish for even publically bringing it up. THAT'S my point.

So he makes it up weeks ago. Plans a return visit to the show knowing he made it up. Tells Pawwwl the made up name, then lawyers up and comes on the show.

I think the version that he does know who the bag man is more believable.

OK, here's why that does not work for me. I cannot imagine why anyone would think Cam should have been ruled ineligible. That event has nothing to do with what the NCAA might have known. It was a decision made based soley upon information provided by Auburn. That's how those items work. Compliance is not involved or consulted.
