I dont understand why we would want to mess with the best conference in the nation that is currently dominating.

It's called being proactive. Would you rather stay on top or have to scramble to catch back up? Whether you like it or not, other conferences are trying to pass us up.

additional TV markets = more $. On a lesser note, the additional exposure supposedly helps recruiting too.

Id like to know where this smoke is coming from. Is it just fans fed up with UT shite that have a hard-on for the SEC? ...or is it from ppl related to the program who could be in the know?
