LSU was underrated in the past, ipso facto they must be underrated this year.

Remember Auburn 2007? They ended the year on a high note and their new Tony Franklin offense performed well against a ranked team in their bowl and that translated into a high ranking to start 2008. Hype surrounding the 2007 team which went 9-4 but looked good at the end of the year turned into a top 10 ranking in most polls to start 2008. We all know how that team turned out.

If you honestly think that it only takes a few small breaks for an offense that barely averages 20 points to average 35 points, I want to know what you are smoking. LSU scored above 35 points last year against ULM, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M yet this year you are going to average better than that. You are talking about leap frogging about 3/4 of the teams in college football with the same QB and the same offensive system and without a proven commodity at RB and having lost some of your better WRs.

LSU will be good this year, but the facts that are based on have nothing to do with how underrated you were in the past. They have to do with a highly talented defense and an offense that SHOULD be competent enough to at least not be a burden on the defense as it has been for three years.
