Friday looks to be decision day with both five-star offensive tackle DJ Humphries and Texas linebacker Dalton Santos announcing their decisions on Friday. The bad news for Tennessee is it's looking like they will bat second with both.
The Vols have always been in it for Humphries but have never been able to get over the 'hump' as his mother never made it to campus with him in any of his 5 trips to Knoxville and he's maintained that Florida has led for some months now, with Tennessee right behind.
It's hard to imagine that a kid makes 5 unofficial visits to your school and you don't get him, but that's the case here as Humphries' ties to former Gator Mo Collins was something Tennessee couldn't combat.
For Santos, it was a July visit to Tennessee that really opened his eyes to Tennessee. But, with the long distance seems to be a factor and A&M is hot right now, especially in the Lone Star State. If Tennessee was a few hours away instead of a 15-hour drive, it could be a much different story.
The next one to watch for Tennessee is Georgia wide receiver Jason Croom. The jumbo wideout is announcing on Thursday, Aug. 18 and it's hard not to like where Tennessee is with him.

TexAgs will probably do the same.
They are really pissed about this Santos quote from a linked article:

"there's no comparison to being able to play in the SEC."
Edit to add this butthurt Aggie's post & the link for you Vols:

Seriously?? This is guy is headed to one of the gutter programs of the SEC, away from his family just to play in an SEC program? Has the allure of the Big 12 faded that much? We cant get a country boy from Van Texas?
Great pick up!
