i doubt it. it would be one thing if yall had to settle for an average coach, but landing anderson and keeping the recruiting class together pretty much justified the firing imo.

I use to like HV back before the Springdale group commited but after that season all the logicly impaired frick tards started showing up. Im would have been happy if Pel stayed and im happy that MA is here.

It was entirely his fault, he handled the roster just like he did at South Alabama. Jeff Long was wise enough to cut him loose while he caused the loss of only one scholarship instead of multiple scholarships, practice time, and a post season ban...

I feel the same way. GUV is constantly wrong. He picks out the opinions of some people on the site who are saying what he wants to believe then presents it as fact.

Pel couldn't win the sec with an nba allstar team. The guy is the worst floor coach ever.
I admit he didn't really get enough time, but he hadn't shown any potential for success at all.
Arkansas should be a bigtime bball school, and Long had to upgrade when the opportunity presented itself.
As for rotnee, he couldn't get along with his teammates, threatened to leave ever year, and was said to be a cancer in the lockerroom. He also couldn't play defense or create his own shot.
He apparently quit because he couldn't live with a black coach. And then did everything he could to make Arkansas look bad publicly.
