You don't have to get mad that everyone isn't on the Fagship bandwagon.

Who is mad? Not me

IMO LSU has a much easier path to 4 losses than Arkansas this year.

Delusional?

As long as LSU has Jordan Jefferson taking snaps under center, the chances of LSU losing 4 games this season is great. Especially with that schedule.

I am a bit nervous about our game with the Pigs. They have some serious motivation after the last few years.

I agree Ark makes me nervous as well but I am thinking with two new tackles and the experience of our secondary will allow Saban to take advantage of that. Also catching Ark early could help Alanama take advantage of a new qb who may get confused when the pressure is on. As long as our run defense is as good as years past we should be ok.

He has the potencial* to be better than the great all world Ryan Mallet..maybe even a 2nd rounder.

* the program, in fact, always has had plenty of that as well.

I tend to agree with this, but you still got to play the games and the grueling SEC scseason will make or break this team. If he has any tendencies, these coaches will pick-up on them. Davis is the key for this team, no doubt.

My 2011 Prediction:

West
Arkansas (11-1, 7-1)
Alabama (10-2, 6-2)
MSU (10-2, 6-2)
LSU (9-3, 6-2)
Ole Miss (7-5, 3-5)
Auburn (4-8, 1-7)

East
USC (10-2, 6-2)
Georgia (10-2, 6-2)
Tenn (7-5, 3-5)
UK (6-6, 2-6)
UF (4-8, 1-7)
Vandy (3-9, 0-8)

I think they win the East...they will play solid D and get back to more of a traditional O

If UF wins the East, Richt and Spurrier should both be fired on the spot. A first year head coach in a transition year with a team that just went 7-5 should not be able to field a stronger team than those two at their respective schools.

Arkansas fans wouldn't know what to do if they actually won 11 games in the SEC... I'm not much for picking surprise teams, so until they actually win something worth noting in my lifetime I'll stick with expecting them to finish 2nd tops in the West. Get a NC or even a SEC championship and i'll start to consider them a national contender

I'm good w/ 10 win seasons...being only behind Bama...at some point we'll start beating them again

And I don't mean to offend any rational hog fans... Being an LSU fan who grew up in Arkansas, i've got a weak spot for hearing about how good the razorbacks are going to be. I've been hearing about crystal balls coming to Arkansas for a while, and I never understand how the talk never dies down. Even when LSU won the 2007 NC game, I still had to deal with "we've got the golden boot" talk.

There is nothing wrong with a delusional fanbase...every year is exciting

I'd take one guy over ours and he's in the same conference. That right there is enough for me to believe that going forward will always have a good team w/ Petrino. We should win 9+ ever year...Is that irrational? I don't really care

I lived in Louisiana for a bit so I can certainly appreciate being a zebra in a lion's den. We are hungry for a championship, that's why you hear a lot of talk from us, we feel that we have what it takes to win a championship and we are disappointed when it doesn't come to fruition, but yet keep hope the following year.

You may see it as annoying, but we expect to win and win big, anything else would make us a crappy fanbase.

face it. Arkansas (just like Bama, LSU, Florida, etc) could lose 4 games or not lose any. you just never know how a season will unfold.

I'd say 9 wins is pretty rational.. 10,11,12 could happen pretty easily probably, but I wouldn't go expecting it. I'm probably guessing 9 for LSU area, I like to leave room for a pleasant surprise and not set myself up for disappointment haha
