exactly how much are we expanding?
Suites or club level?
Moving the video board?
Old Field House(which I DO NOT want torn down.....historical value)
etc.
etc.

I would love for them to have Starnes connected to the stadium in the NEZE and turn it into a museum type deal. Build the expansion around it and have it be an entrance to the stadium where you can peel off and walk through the museum. I think this could be a cool addition to VHS

Yeah I have a vision very similar to that. I just wish I could draw it up the way I see it in my head.

I would like to see that endzone bowled in. On top, a huge plaza. This plaza would allow you to walk around or under the HD board. On that plaza, there would be a section of buildings in the back...Bathrooms, Restaurants, Rebel Shop, etc. I'd move Vaught's statue up there so it looks down on the stadium. That plaza would be very similar to how that of Tampa Bay's stadium looks. Then underneath all that, you would have Starnes. I would turn that into a museum type thing. But keeping the weight room and stuff for athletes.

If you know any architects who might be interested in the expansion, I suggest describing it to them. I have a friend (architect) who can accurately draft up that kinda thing, and relatively fast, with his CAD program. Only problem with him would be in being able to nail him down long enough to kindle some interest.

That sounds awesome. Take it to the fundraising arm of the program and see if you can get some traction. Someone there might recognize it for a good idea.

Nutt is a special kind of coach. You guys should lock him up long term before one of the big boy programs come calling.

You have lost your damn mind!

And while I think that Lester Miles is holding LSU back from what they could accomplish with the talent at their disposal, I'd STILL take Les over Nutt ANY day of the week.

Hell, for that matter I'd take ANY coach presently coaching football in the SEC over HDN.

And I'm as serious as Nutt is about running a smoke draw on 3rd and long, or a 5 yard screen pass out in the flat, when 7 is needed for a first down!

Houston Nutt is drama, has the Dallas Cowboys or Nebraska sent a plane down to pick him up yet?
