Obviously UF is knocking on the door. Just wondering if any other school has done this.

Didn't Minnesota win in all 3 sports - if you replace hockey with baseball for up north.
I don't know. I'm just grasping. Don't feel like looking it up.

I believe a couple have, I think Ohio State has, Michigan or Minnesota might have as well. Would be pretty awesome especially since it would mean a football-basketball-baseball title run within 5 years of each other.

LSU in 91. basketball won it in the 30s, football 58 and then baseballs first title.

If we're counting that one, Arkansas has one in Football and Basketball, but not Baseball.

Here is the explanation that 'title'.
quote:
In the days before the NCAA Tournament, the Tigers won a 1935 mythical national championship by winning the American Legion Bowl (one of several mythical championships awarded that year), under head coach Harry Rabenhorst. While this championship is not officially recognized by the NCAA since it did not sanction a tournament, LSU officially claims this championship and displays a banner in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Sparky Wade was legit in those days.

I guess if you count the pre-tournament titles then Minnesota counts. I believe Michigan has actually won all 4 of those as well.

But I thought anything before 1950 didn't count, or anything before the tournament/poll era?

What happened to them?
Were all the good athletes also highly intelligent people who figured out it was too damn cold up there and left?

I know. They're feeling cocky.
But Confucius say, "He who stands in corner with hands in pocket, feeling nuts."
