I disagree. Witt has been one of the best presidents Alabama has ever had. Sorenson was unpopular with many Bama people but he deserves credit for initially lifting the school`s academic profile. Witt has built the school`s rep even higher and has dramatically improved facilities. Alabama has never been as popular with prospective student in its history than now. I am concerned about enrollment getting out of hand though. I think enrollment should be capped at 30,000 as it is now. Up till now average ACT scores haven`t suffered. I don`t think that can keep up if we get much larger though

I have mixed feelings about this. It is definitely not the campus that we experienced in 2005 - and I don't necessarily agree with HOW big he is trying to make it - but I think bringing more students in to the University is a great thing.
