in order to advance. Would like to see as many conference foes advance to the Series.

Yea but when all the SEC teams are winning, it makes a super regional matchup with another one very likely.

You got to beat the best to be the best and it just so happens most of the best teams are in the SEC.

Blame 1997. 4 SEC West teams made it to Omaha. Then 3 SEC teams made it in 1998. The NCAA put a stop to that by pairing up SEC teams in Super Regionals.

Agreed.
I guess the trade-off is that this gurantees a SEC team in Omaha.
For my part, would love to see Omaha become Hoover-west.
