worth the read for a number of reasons. The guy was ripped out of a closet and thrown about 40 ft. Several injuries and he nearly bled to death. Lots of heroic acts occurred during the storm.

If real that is awesome. I loved this quote. I teared up a little. "your symbol stayed firmly around my neck and in my heart"

Awesome story. Really puts you in the eyes of what a lot of people experienced.

Well, if you think you're entitled to live in the first place, then I see why you can make this statement. The fact that you take your next breath is the grace of God. You and I and everyone else deserve the wrath of God, and not Salvation through Christ. He owes us nothing!!

So an Evil God? ok, I can handle that.

A great story about human perseverance just had to be hijacked didn't it. Thanks random college sophomore who just discovered his independence and is rebelling against his parents and society by becoming an atheist and making damn sure we all know it.

Honestly, I can see how someone could feel this way, just as much as I can understand how someone could feel the opposite. This shite is such a mind frick.

Not saying you are wrong, but we are all entitled to our beliefs, and can express those beliefs accordingly, because this web site is awesome.

I agree, but there is a time and place for everything. A thread about an inspirational story is not the time to mock the deep felt faith of 90% of this board. And I promise I am no Bible thumper.

The internet is exactly the place for archaic view points to be attacked.

It was an interesting story but the most inspiring thing about it was how he survived God's wrath. God got as many as he could that day. I'm glad he didn't take my Atheist brother and only decided to destroy his house. Devil must have had his back. Maybe it was Allah? The Buddha? Maybe Vishnu? I need to pray some more to find out because it's unclear.

You come across as someone who cares more about being "cool" than being a good person. Your attitude alone, regardless of your religious beliefs would prevent any friendship with me. I'm definitely not a bible thumper either. You're just kind of a jerk.
