I don't think an OM fan has ever claimed on here to outrecruit State in Basketball

Don't reply to Bobby Moore. shite, even you're capable of making that guy look dense.

I've heard we are in good shape as well plus Ttown is close to Starkville so distance shouldn't be a factor.
You also heard y'all were in good shape for sword.

When was this? Most Bama fans weren't that hot on a Sword commitment, we already have a PG from 2013 (Jaren Sina).

About a month ago Bryant said he felt that Bama would get Sword, Ware and Pollard. All 3 of Mississippi State's top recruits for the c/o 2012.

What i'm worried about is the recruitment of inside players.
What big men are we recruiting ?
When Sidney and moultrie leave after this coming season , who will replace them?

That's what I wanna know. Lewis will never be a star. And there's no one else after him.

Top 100 and 4 Star players Gavin Ware and Devonta Pollard. Both kids are from Mississippi.
Gavin Ware is from Starkville and is 6'9" 250 PF/C while Devonta Pollard is a 6'8" 190lb SF/PF who has a wingspan of 7"+ and is an excellent shot blocker.

so we still don't have a center on the radar. So after moultrie and sidney leave we won't have a true center, except maybe lewis who is nothing special?

Ware could play Center, if you look at most college programs its hard to find a legit big man. The days of the 7foot center are a thing of the past. Most teams have athletic big men like Moultrie who are between 6'8" and 6'11".
I dont think that both Sidney and Moultrie will declare for the draft after this season. I feel one will come back for their Sr. Season.

If one of them doesn't leave after this season, it means we had a disappointing season.

I don't remember saying we'd get them? I never say a recruit is a lock. I knew it was between us, MSU, and one other team for Sword. I felt confident cause he plays for the Challenge which is a pro Alabama AAU team. I do think we are going after wings harder than guards though.

FWIW Both Ware and Pollard were at on campus for Super Bulldog Weekend.

I definitely think MSU has the upper hand for those two guys. Our 2012 hasn't gotten off to a fast start while our 2013 class is setting up to be fantastic.
Posted on 4/18/11 at 4:25 pm to Bryant91092
2013 might be the main reason we don't sniff on Ware. We already have a pf for that class, and Jimmie Taylor is BLOWING up.

Yeah he's got the chance to be a 5* if his offense gets a little better. It's imperative we land him.
