Tee Martin
Matt Flynn
Greg McElroy
Cam Newton

NO QB on the Bama roster have the skill set the guys above had to take the team to a BCS title on the first try. This was evident watching them in person yesterday.

Matt Flynn lost 2 games and still won a national championship.

2 losses could mean 12 wins, though. That's a successful season. I won't be shocked when every team in the SEC has at least 2 losses this season.. schedules are tough, teams are loaded, etc.

Hell, LSU may have 3 losses.

10-2 regular season won't surprise me at all. Neither will 12-0. Both are very possible.

I rewatched the game yesterday, and Sims looked VERY impressive IMO in the second half. He was making some big time throws, and checking down very good. I'm excited about him. I think he has to be our guy for this season.

Well shite. Back to the drawing board.

But really, I could be QB of this Bama team and they'd still be very good. It's not hard to hand the ball to TR behind a veteran offensive line. Few teams will score more than 14 points on this Bama defense.

Are you kidding me? Greg McElroy was terrible. Tee Martin was turnover prone and mediocre at best. Flynn wasn't that great either. And how good two of those teams will be remains to be seen. LSU struggled because their QB situation was historically bad, even much worse than it is now. I can't speak for Tennessee's behalf but I can't imagine the departure of Tee freaking Martin caused them to lose four games. Hell, they lost three games the year before despite having the 11th ranked total defense and 7th ranked scoring defense in the country.

I think we will see if Jim McElwain is a top flight offensive coordinator this year.

Look what Malzahn did with Todd.

Let the running game carry the team. It will open the pass.
