Maybe, but that was the mon & tues before SD, not wkend. Also, why wouldnt Lee have just said "Peaches" instead of "a bama fan with connections to the ath dept" (which, other than BC, Peaches has none)?

If there is any recruit I'd be willing to admit some level of "shadiness" in recruiting it would be BC. However, two points for clarification:

1) Peaches did NOT have his mortgage paid off as Lee is implying. That is too obvious and too big to hide. saban isn't going to risk his reputation on something that moronic and/or easy to track.
2) Lee should really just look elsewhere. Neither side is spotless with BC, and the more Lee talks, the more likely it is word about AU's recruitment of the DB from Miami is going to get out. He doesn't want that. My only thought is that Lee may know about some of the AU dirt and so he is trying to drag the rival down too.
