I was talking to my dad yesterday about high school football in other states and we talked a little about Tennessee, my sister lives in Seymore, and he mentioned he use to watch a lot in the Springfield area in the early 70s when he lived there. Anyhow, he mentioned Colonel Sanders was a big fan of the local teams and came to all the games. Pretty cool imo... Anyone else remember this or have similar stories of American icons

I thought you said the story was cool?

ETA: Dave Thomas used to coach my little league baseball team.
