Most teams in the SEC have a "rival" that is promoted by the conference and television---even the school sports administrations. Examples are as follows:
Auburn vs. Alabama
LSU vs Arkansas
Georgia vs Florida
Tennessee vs Vanderbilt
Ole Miss vs Mississippi State
But what one team do the fans really want to beat---more than any other team? What team gives you the most emotional satisfaction to beat?

This is not a rivalry. I feel sorry for the Hawgs when I go up there and realize Arkansas sports is all they have.
ETA: whatever program is the best. Right now that program is Bama. Beating AU's arse in TS will be a revenge factor but not really satisfying.

Some rednecks in our fanbase would rather beat bama than have a NC.

I thought LSU-Auburn was a great rivalry while Tubs was there....obviously LSU-Bama kind of took some of the steam out of LSU-Auburn when Saban went to Bama.
LSU-Arky is a crappy rivalry IMO, and while I certainly want to beat Arkansas, it's a very one-sided rivalry similar to the LSU-Ole Miss rivalry. While Arkansas and Ole Miss are circling LSU on their schedule, LSU is circling Auburn, Florida, and Bama on our schedule.
On my "hate" registry, it goes something like this:
1a. Bama
1b. Auburn
3. Florida
4. Arky
5. Ole Miss
6. Tennessee
7. Georgia
8. Kentucky
9. South Carolina
10. Miss State ... has the potential to move up, but it's hard to hate a school we've beaten what seems like 20 years in a row
11. Vanderbilt

I consider these Auburn's greatest rivals:
1a. Alabama (our most hated rival)
1b. Georgia (our longest and most respected rival)
2. LSU (our newest rival)
3a. Florida ( from the good old days)
3b. Tennessee (also from the good old days)
4. Miss State (only because we've been playing a long time, but the rivalry is lopsided)
5. Arkansas (they want to be our rival)
1a. Alabama (our most hated rival)
1b. Georgia (our longest and most respected rival)
2. LSU (our newest rival)
3a. Florida ( from the good old days)
3b. Tennessee (also from the good old days)
4. Miss State (only because we've been playing a long time, but the rivalry is lopsided)
5. Arkansas (they want to be our rival)
