Hmmm, piece this together and it sure looks interesting
Report about Mallett drug issues surface. Albert Breer cites info from a "source", unnamed.
Albert Breer/Mallett
Breer reports on CBA from a "source", Tom Condon
Albert Breer/ Tom Condon
Tom Condon is a agent for none other than......
Blaine Gabbert. Who stands to gain much ground if Mallett drops.
Coincidence??

He has a John Elway arm on a Ben Rapesagirl body with Ryan Leaf brain. Go ahead and draft him in the first round, pay big money, and watch in horror as he self destructs taking his bonus money down the drain with his career.
ya, I would love to see the Vikings draft this clown.

not true. Gabbert and Mallett aren't even in the same universe as players. Mallett hasn't ever been mentioned in the same breath.
Alot of people have better sources than Condon as well how do you explain that?

He sure does show up in a lot of Mallett threads.

He hates the flagship.
He crazy saying Gabbert is miles above Mallett as a player. Gabbert didn't do shite in his college career.

I agree. They aren't even close. Except the talking heads seem to think so. One of the radio shows in Ark has an "expert" on explaining why hehad Gabbert rated higher. His explaintion was that he watch 3 game tapes of each. Bama, LSU and tOSU for Mallet. 2 of this worst games. And the 3 best games Gabbert played, against crappy teams.
I haven't heard anyone excpet Breer mention sources. Everyone else jsut repeats what they heard on twitter or whatever.

Gabbert was pretty great against OU and A&M, sucked against Nebraska and Texas Tech... and then played well in his last four games at MU
He's a very solid prospect with great size (maybe 6'5" and 235)
Even setting aside the rumors about Mallet I could see people thinking Gabbert has more upside

Whats that now??
Gabbert has been rated as the best QB available in the draft. Mallett stands (then gets sacked) to gain much if Gabbert drops.

Everyone also seems to forget that terrible fourth quarter interception Gabbert threw in Missouri's bowl game, but they are all over Mallett for the Sugar Bowl interception.
