that doesn't disprove his claim. Arkansas improved from 9th to 7th, shaving 3 ppg off the average.

also, Arkasnas was 0.3 ppg from being "top half". it's not like we were at the absolute bottom last year.

Since Petrino has been at Arkansas, we've improved each year, on offense and defense. Why would this change? We no longer have Nutt, even though he did perform well against LSU. In '08, we had the weakest team I can remember, talent-wise, and Petrino still squeezed out 5 wins. I'm thinking we might have even won our last regular season game, even though we didn't go to a bowl. That must really suck for teams that lost to us that year, especially when they were so much better. I'm thinking Auburn was so upset about losing that they hired Chiz.
