I stand corrected on all of the stats, but here is the complete season: LINK

5th in total D, 7th in scoring, 6th in pass, 10th in rushing

so, top half of the league in 2 of the 4 stats, only 0.3 points per game from top half in 3 of the 4.

not too bad for an offensive coach who inherited a terrible D and "doesn't care about defense".

EDIT: and i should add that the defense is still a work in progress. the defense required a total rebuilding job when Petrino came in. as has been said, most fans expect to see the defense improve yet again in 2011.
