You've got it all wrong. National titles count only if you go undefeated; or if you didn't go undefeated but you needed another team to lose, and as long as you needed that loss of another team to occur during weeks 1-11 of the season.

you gotta admit. it took several teams losing that 2007 weekend to get lsu in....and not only that but i'm pretty sure most of them were favored to win. it was just one of those freakiest of freaky things that fell lsu's way that weekend. it's easy to see how lsu fans can't admit this (see auburn 2010)but seriously, what were the odds that would happen. what are the odds it will happen again?
