I actually think last year was an anomaly and another long BCS-less streak is on its way

Well, that's fine. I don't expect non Arkansas fans to be buying into shite. and I don't expect us to return to a BCS game this coming season myself. But we're not just going to return to a .500 club either.

Arkansas will be just fine with or without your blessing.

I agree - I think y'all will be a solid 8-4/9-3 team as long as Petrino is there, and a tough game

Nobody is saying that you will.

People around the SEC see you as a competitive program with a good coach that can and will win games and have good years, we just don't see you as an SEC championship caliber program and why should we? You've never done it since you've been here. Not that it's impossible or anything, but you're expecting people to respect you the way they do LSU, Alabama, Florida, ect when you don't have the consistency or the hardware to back it up.

And not just one either, you're going to have to come back and win MULTIPLE SEC championships for people to start looking at your program like that.

The point is last year was a building block not the end of our progression

Since Arky is on the same level as Bama they should at least return to the Sugar Bowl, right?
