There's no way five SEC teams, including Auburn, have oversigned more than Alabama. Only Alabama oversigns then cuts people/greyshirts/redshirts/etc. There's just no way those facts are right.
You are not really serious are you. These are just gross numbers of those signed on National Signing Day. The real issue, if you want to even call it an issue, is with teams that are signing more players than they have room to enroll under the 85 max scholarship limit.

For example, if team A (pun intended) has 75 scholarship players that are academically eligible to return the following season and then signs 25 new recruits in the spring, there are 15 of those players that will not be able to legally enroll in the fall.

The issue is whether all of those 15 players are being handled fairly.

Or the other real issue is when you kick players to make room. Signing as many as Au has and such a low grad rate for black athletes, leads everyone to believe that Au has oversigned and gone crazy getting rid of players to be under like they are.

So Auburn makes extra room by not providing their athletes with what they need to stay academically eligible. Bama makes room by cutting for discipline issues and lack of performance.

Either way, when you are signing this many players a year, room is made for the new kids one way or another.
